It’s here! The cover of the third BRAVE NEW GIRLS anthology.
The newest edition, titled BRAVE NEW GIRLS: TALES OF HEROINES WHO HACK!, is a collection of twenty-three short stories featuring teen girls who hack not only computers, but any puzzle they encounter. And I’m fortunate to have one of my stories included: The Experiment Called Life.
These anthologies, created and edited by sci-fi authors Paige Daniels and Mary Fan, are filled with young adult science fiction stories featuring girls with talents in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). They use their brains to make everyday life better, solve the world’s problems, and defeat villains from outer space. When you put a tech-savvy girl on the case, you never know what will happen.
The books are more than collections of great stories for middle and high school kids. They are examples of how one idea can make a huge difference. And to help girls succeed in STEM, proceeds from sales are donated to the Society of Women Engineers scholarship fund.
This newest edition sounds amazing doesn’t it? You don’t want to miss out on it’s release. Make sure you sign up for the release day mailing list: Brave New Girls Mailing List and add it on Goodreads.
While you are waiting for the third edition to be published (July 2018), check out Brave New Girls: Tales of Girls and Gadgets and Brave New Girls: Stories of Girls Who Science and Scheme (including a story from The Winged Pen’s Michell Leonard)
